Aims & Scope
Regional Environmental Change is a multidisciplinary journal focusing on interactions between human and natural systems at local to global scales. Publishes both theoretical and applied studies as well as opinion papers. Encourages submissions across the natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. Addresses regional manifestations of local to global change, adaptation of social-ecological systems, and policy issues related to environmental change. Publishes research articles, editorials, short communications, mini-reviews, and special features. High author satisfaction with 93% of surveyed authors willing to publish again. The following topics are not within the scope of Regional Environmental Change and will be desk rejected: Waste management, Pollution control, Energy technologies / transitions, Green economy, Environmental psychology, Environmental engineering, Environmental economics, Environmental law.
