Springer-Verlag Wien · Austria · Est. 1890
Aims & Scope
Monatshefte für Mathematik is devoted to research in mathematics in its broadest sense. The journal promotes research in pure mathematics as well as the integration of mathematics with other scientific disciplines. Over the years, the journal has attracted papers by a number of illustrious authors and contains historical achievements in analysis, topology and number theory, and it also played a seminal role in analyzing the foundations of mathematics. Publishes research papers and occasionally solicited surveys with an integrative and up-to-date perspective on a major topic in pure and applied mathematics. The mathematical content of papers on applied subjects should be substantial and not merely descriptive.
