Aims & Scope
Behavioral and Brain Sciences (BBS) is a highly distinctive, interdisciplinary journal that publishes original research articles and, in response, commentaries from leading scholars worldwide. BBS is unique in its format: each article is followed by a broad range of commentaries, and the author then has the opportunity to reply to these commentaries. This format allows for a wide-ranging debate on important issues in the field, and it is this debate that forms the core of the journal. BBS covers all aspects of psychology, neuroscience, cognitive science, linguistics, anthropology, and philosophy that are relevant to understanding the nature of the mind and behavior. The journal is committed to fostering interdisciplinary dialogue and to publishing work that challenges existing paradigms and opens up new avenues of research. BBS is published by Cambridge University Press and is indexed in Current Contents/Social and Behavioral Sciences, Psychological Abstracts, and the Social Sciences Citation Index.
