Aims & Scope
The Pharmacogenomics Journal is a print and electronic journal, which is dedicated to the rapid publication of original research on pharmacogenomics and its clinical applications. Key areas of coverage include: Effects of genetic variability on drug toxicity and efficacy Identification and functional characterization of polymorphisms relevant to drug action Integration of new developments in the genome project and proteomics into clinical medicine, pharmacology, and therapeutics Clinical implementation of pharmacogenomics Identification of novel genomic targets for drug development Economics of genome-guided interventions ELSI issues on the clinical implementation of pharmacogenomics Pharmacogenomics in developing countries Companion diagnostics and drug development Supporting the Sustainable Developmental Goals We are proud to acknowledge that over 50% of the articles published in The Pharmacogenomics Journal in 2025 were related to one or more of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
