The Journal of Phycology publishes research on all aspects of algae, encompassing basic and applied studies. It covers ecophysiology, molecular biology, morphology, taxonomy, and biochemistry of algae, including their interactions with other organisms and their roles in ecosystems. The journal also includes research on cyanobacteria and their bioactive compounds, as well as studies on seaweed diversity and the life cycles and physiology of various algal groups.
