The May 2026 issue of JOM is the TMS Journal of the Month. This issue is free to access through June 30th, 2026. JOM is a journal of The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society focusing on various aspects of materials science and engineering. The journal balances the interests of the laboratory and the marketplace by reporting academic, industrial, and government-sponsored work from around the world. Focuses on the broad topical areas of light metals, structural materials, functional materials, extraction and processing, and materials processing and manufacturing.
