Focuses on the broad topical areas of light metals, structural materials, functional materials, extraction and processing, and materials processing and manufacturing. Reports on state-of-the-art processing, fabrication, design, and application of metals, plastics, composites, and other materials. Encompasses a member magazine that shares news about the Society and the field, and a technical journal that publishes peer-reviewed articles.
