Aims & Scope
The UCLA International Institute educates students, supports scholarship on the world at UCLA and serves as a campus and community resource. The central hub for global and area studies on campus, the institute currently houses 22 research centers and programs, three outreach programs, and eight interdisciplinary degree programs that offer six majors, 10 minors and three M.A. degrees. It offers undergraduate majors in global studies, international development studies and area studies; minors in global studies, global health, international migration studies and area studies; and regionally focused graduate programs.
