Aims & Scope
TSEG - The Low Countries Journal of Social and Economic History is the Dutch-Flemish journal of social and economic history. It is an open access, peer-reviewed, scientific journal which was granted A status/ INT 1 by the European Science Foundation. The journal publishes articles and reviews in the fields of social and economic history in the broad sense, with a particular but not exclusive interest in the low countries. The journal has a strong interest in the manner in which people in the past have interacted with each other and given shape to social, economic, cultural and political patterns. Key notions here are economic growth, power and (in)equality, group cultures, networks, identity, gender, ethnicity, ecology, trade and technique, entrepreneurship, labour and social movements.
