Aims & Scope
Meccanica is a journal focused on theoretical, experimental and numerical aspects of mechanics in a broad sense. Explores both established and emerging research areas of theoretical and applied mechanics. Traditional research fields include general mechanics, solid mechanics, structural mechanics, fluid mechanics, and mechanics of machines. More modern aspects include dynamical systems, engineered materials, control, computational approaches, and applications of artificial intelligence. Stands as the official journal of the Italian Association of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (AIMETA). Provides full length papers, topical overviews, brief notes, discussions, and book reviews.
