Aims & Scope
International Ophthalmology provides the clinician with articles on all the relevant subspecialties of ophthalmology, with a broad international scope. With a goal of updating readers on the latest basic and clinical research findings across the entire spectrum of ophthalmology, and to advance disease understanding and management. In addition, the journal welcomes research into new developments in technologies, animal models, innovative diagnostic techniques, advances in therapy, techniques, and basic research projects, as well as negative and replication studies. The editorial process of International Ophthalmology judges on research and education value: all valid research, including negative and positive results, will be considered (see all formats considered below). Reviewers are asked to focus on the validity of the data and conclusions presented to ensure that results are accurately reported. The journal reviews each submission from a ‘sound science’ perspective.
