Journal of Bioenergetics and Biomembranes publishes original research in bioenergetics, membranes, and transport. Topics covered include oxidative phosphorylation, photosynthesis, muscle contraction, and biomembranes. Serves a wide scientific community including biophysicists, membrane biologists, cell biologists, biochemists, molecular biologists, physiologists, endocrinologists, and bio-organic chemists. Journal is interested in papers which present mechanistic studies with relevance to human disease (cancer, diabetes, neurodegeneration).
