Aims & Scope

Metabolic Brain Disease is a forum for publishing high-quality basic and clinical papers on a broad range of brain disorders in human and animal studies. Topics include stroke, traumatic brain injury, myelin disorders, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, toxic encephalopathies, genetic diseases affecting the brain, alcohol and brain metabolism, neuroendocrinopathies, viral and nonviral encephalitides, nutritional disorders affecting the brain, diseases affecting neurotransmitters, Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson’s disease, amyotrophic lateral and more. The journal serves neuroscientists, psychiatrists, neurologists, pathologists, and others involved in research and treatment of brain disorders. We will consider research papers, short communications, review articles and editorials.
