Aims & Scope

EEMJ publishes original papers containing results of its own scientific research and information on progress in the field of environmental chemistry/engineering, management and education; review articles; new aspects related to relevant topics in the field; book reviews; advertising. EEMJ aims to be a periodical of international circulation, publishing articles in the following fields: environmental impact assessment, integrated environmental management, risk assessment and management, environmental chemistry, environmental protection technologies (air, water, soil), pollution reduction at source and minimization of losses/clean technologies/pollution prevention practices, chemical and biological process engineering, sensors in environmental control, radiation sources and protection technologies, waste valorization technologies, waste management, biotechnologies for environmental protection, energy and environment, modeling, simulation and optimization in environmental engineering, drinking and industrial water technology, life cycle assessment of products, sustainable production and consumption, cost-benefit analysis in environmental protection, ecodesign, ecological labeling, ecocertification, environmental education and sustainable development.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
