Aims & Scope
About the Journal Focus and Scope “Studia austriaca” (e-ISSN 2385-2925) is an international journal devoted to the study of Austrian culture and literature. It is published annually, in the spring, as an online, open access, peer-reviewed journal hosted by Università degli Studi di Milano under OJS (Open Journal Systems). For vols. I-XIX, published in print (p-ISSN 1593-2508) between 1992 and 2011, click on Archives and Searching pre-2012 vols . The international character of the journal is emphasized by the breadth of its Editorial Board and by the commitment to publish essays not only in German and Italian, but also in English and other European languages. Scholars wishing to submit an essay should send it to the Editor-in-chief ( [email protected] or fausto.cercignani[at]gmail.com). Deadline for submissions: 31st March of each year. All essays should be accompanied by a short abstract in English (about 500-600 characters, including spaces). Please note that “Studia austriaca” - does not impose article submission charges. - does not impose article processing charges. - allows the author(s) to hold the copyright without restrictions. - allows the author(s) to retain publishing rights without restrictions. Peer Review Process Manuscripts submitted to “Studia austriaca” go through an internal review and if they meet the basic requirements of the journal, they are sent out for double blind review by experts in the field, who may be members of the editorial board or external scholars. The comments received from the reviewers are sent to the authors, who are notified of the journal’s decision within a reasonable lapse of time. The editor-in-chief’s decision is final.
