Aims & Scope
I Quaderni del m.æ.s – Journal of Mediæ Ætatis Sodalicium is an annual journal that aims to be a tool for discussion, in-depth study, and dissemination of knowledge on the medieval period (5th-15th centuries). The publication, which began in 1998 under the guidance of Réginald Grégoire, aims to study the Middle Ages through dialogue between different disciplines and therefore welcomes a range of proposals that intertwine different methodologies and fields of knowledge, from history to archaeology, from philology to art history. The journal aims to give space to research conducted by scholars in their respective national languages, welcoming contributions in Italian, English, French, and Spanish, in order to strengthen scientific collaboration between countries with a long tradition of medieval studies.
