Aims & Scope

Mammalian Biology publishes research on all aspects of mammalian biology. Formerly Zeitschrift für Säugetierkunde. Official journal of the German Society for Mammalian Biology (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Säugetierkunde). Primarily of interest to scientists working in the listed various fields of mammalogy but also to biologists and zoologists in general, as well as to veterinarians and medical scientists Investigations using mammals merely as models or emphasizing experimental or veterinary aspects are of interest only if they are of substantial relevance to mammalogists. Publishes original research reports, short communications, and reviews.
