The Journal of Economics is a renowned academic journal publishing scholarly research in all fields of economics. The long tradition of the journal began in Vienna in 1929 as the “Zeitschrift für Nationalökonomie”. Since 1986 it is named Journal of Economics. The papers focus on both macroeconomics and microeconomics (often with a theoretical/ mathematical focus). Econometric case studies of general interest are also welcome. Regular online collections address topics of central importance, both to present economic reality and to modern theoretical research.
