Aims & Scope
The journal provides Authors from various disciplines of science and technology with the opportunity to present geoinformatics solutions, while offering readers the chance to explore a wide range of computer science applications (including image recognition methods, neural networks, expert systems, and data warehousing) in the broad spectrum of Earth sciences. The mission of the journal is therefore to disseminate geoinformatics research, both theoretical and practical, as well as to acquaint readers with current international achievements in this area. An important goal of Geoinformatica Polonica is also to foster cooperation, integration, and development of the scientific community in all fields: research, conceptual, and organizational.
