Aims & Scope

"World of Ideas and Politics"is a scientific journal of the Faculty of Political Sciences and Public Administration of Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, which has published papers and reviews of authors from Poland and abroad since 2001. From the beginning of its existence, the journal was an annual, and from 2021 it is a semi-annual. The editorial board's intention is to show various aspects of politics that change over time and space. The journal is a place of scientific debate of researchers of scientific disciplines in the field of social sciences. The authors present different traditions, research approaches, and paradigms. The common motive for these considerations are broadly understood political ideas, phenomena, and processes. The journal publishes original papers, both theoretical and empirical in nature, and summarizes the existing state of knowledge and research. Papers are published in Polish, English, Russian, German, and Spanish. The condition for publication of the paper is its successful going through the two-stage review procedure. The high substantive level of the journal is ensured by the editors, scientific board and reviewers. In the years 2001-2019, "World of Ideas and Politics " was published by Adam Marszałek Publishing House, and from 2020 is published by the Kazimierz Wielki University Publishing House, both in paper (primary) and electronic version. The journal applies the principles of publication ethics in accordance with the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
