Aims & Scope
(JIS) is a refereed academic periodical concerned with research in the field of Islamic studies. It is published by the College of Education, King Saud University. There are three issues a year, one in February, one in May and one in November. The very first issue of JIS was released in 1977/1397H under the name Studies. Vision:JIS aspires to be amongst most highly ranking institutions that publish refereed researches in the field of Islamic studies.Mission:The mission of JIS is to publish refereed researches in the field of Islamic studies in accordance with internationally distinguished academic standards. Objectives:1. To be a reliable academic reference for scholars in the field of Islamic studies.2. To maintain and promote the Islamic identity and values through publishing rigorous refereed researches that enhance the development and progress of society.3. To meet the needs of researchers in the field of Islamic studies locally, regionally, and globally.
