JISCR has the fundamental aim of sharing knowledge, bringing together researchers, developers, and industry experts to publish the recent developments for addressing various security, privacy and accountability issues in computer science and its relevant research areas including digital forensics, data science, artificial intelligence, and smart technologies. JISCR promotes innovations and advances in utilizing digital evidence and multimedia for legal purposes, including incident response, cybercrime research, cyber-risk management, and privacy protection. The journal aims at contributing to increase the usage and impact of knowledge in cybersecurity. The scope of topics covered in the JISCR includes but is not limited to: Computer and network security and its applications (encryption, e-commerce security, intrusion detection systems and firewall, biometric applications security), Policies, laws, legal frameworks (cybercrime laws), developing cyber safety policies, Copyright & Intellectual Property Law, IT Governance, Risk Management, Incident Response, Digital Forensics & Security, Blockchain & Smart Contract, Security, privacy, multimedia & mobile security, Data Science Security, Computer physical security, and Human Factors in Cyber Security.
