Aims & Scope

Frontiers in Computational Neuroscience is a high-impact open-access journal that publishes rigorous research on the computational principles underlying nervous system function. We welcome submissions that advance our understanding of neural computation, from the molecular to the systems level, and across species. Our scope includes, but is not limited to, the following areas: Neural coding and representation, Learning and memory, Decision making and behavior, Sensory processing and perception, Motor control and robotics, Neuromorphic engineering, Computational psychiatry, Theoretical neuroscience, and Methods and tools for computational neuroscience.
