Aims & Scope

PASOS is a free digital publication subject to external peer review, specializing in the analysis of various processes within the tourism system, with a particular interest in the tourism uses of culture, nature, and territory, people, communities, and their spaces, and integral heritage. It seeks and encourages contributions from social sciences and administrative-business practice from an inter and transdisciplinary perspective. Its objective is to serve as a forum for the presentation and discussion of methodologies and theories, as well as the dissemination of studies and experiences. It aims to contribute to efforts to understand tourism and improve the prevention of undesirable effects, while also enhancing how tourism complements the improvement and development of the quality of life for residents in destination areas.
