Aims & Scope
The“Bulletin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. History”– is periodical peer-reviewed academic edition featuring materials and research results in the field of History and Historical disciplines. It was founded in 1958 as academical journal with the title "Historical Sciences". After 1996 it's named the "Bulletin of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. History". It published the articles and researches of the professors of Faculty of History of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv as well as the researches of Ukrainian and foreign historians from other institutions. TheBulletinallows the author(s) to hold the copyright and retain publishing rights without restrictions. Aimof the Bulletin – to provide a communication platform for the researchers and scholars who study History and Historical disciplines both in Ukraine and abroad; to present the results of dissertation researches of doctoral candidates; enable young scientists, graduate students and students to master the methods of preparation and publication of scientific articles; to introduce into the circulation new sources and materials. Problematics. Editorial board accepts the articles on the History of Ukraine, World History, Archaeology, Archival studies, Regional studies, Ethnic studies, Historiography, Source studies and other Historical disciplines. The preference is given to the study of the liberation movements in Ukraine and other countries; studies, that are based on the previously unpublished archival or archaeological materials; biographical studies of the outstanding historical persons; researches, based on the methodic of the gender studies, microhistory, intellectual history etc. ScientificArticles– original papers and the results of dissertation research are being published.
