Aims & Scope
The Journal of Philosophical Theological Research (JPTR) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal that aims to publish new research achievements in various fields of philosophy; including philosophy of mind, philosophy of religion, ethics, epistemology, metaphysics, philosophy of science, etc. JPTR especially welcomes comparative articles that study the western and Muslim philosophers' viewpoints about important philosophical issues to find the best answer to philosophical questions and also to explore their differences and similarities with the aim of bringing them closer to each other. This journal accepts analytical articles that reread Muslim philosophers' ideas according to new approaches in philosophy, theology, neurosciences, psychology, and cognitive sciences. Therefore, it aims to serve the interests of a wide range of thoughtful and academic readers, philosophers, theologians, psychologists, neuroscientists, cognitive scientists, and others interested in the multidisciplinary study of philosophy and theology. We hope that this publication creates an atmosphere of constructive dialogue on different philosophical topics between national and international scholars by which it could have a role in the growth of philosophical thought.
