The Revue archéologique de l’Est (RAE) publishes, in an annual volume of 300 to 400 pages, the most important results of archaeological research conducted in the East and Center-East (Alsace, Burgundy, Champagne-Ardenne, Franche-Comté, Lorraine and northern Rhône-Alpes). It is one of the interregional archaeology journals supported by the Ministry of Culture and the CNRS. Founded in 1950, it is published by the Société archéologique de l’Est (SAE), an association under the law of 1901 based at the University of Dijon, within the premises of UMR 6298-ARTeHIS, to which it is closely linked.
