Aims & Scope

Köz-gazdaság - Review of Economic Theory and Policy (ISSN: 1788-0696, E-ISSN: 2939-8711) is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by Corvinus University of Budapest, with a quarterly release schedule. Since its inception in 2006, the journal has been committed to exploring how economic theories can shape real-world policy decisions, addressing challenges and opportunities in diverse economic environments. The journal promotes interdisciplinary research that integrates economic theories with insights from related disciplines, providing a holistic understanding of complex economic issues. Additionally, the journal emphasizes methodological and empirical studies focusing on the design, implementation, and evaluation of economic policies across different contexts and geographical regions. Within the Hungarian academic landscape, there is currently no other journal positioned to undertake such a comprehensive mission. We extend a warm welcome to all authors interested in contributing to our scholarly community. Our commitment is to cultivate a diverse array of perspectives and methodologies, encouraging contributions from scholars worldwide and across various economic disciplines. Together, we aim to build a community that thrives on the exchange of ideas and the collaborative pursuit of knowledge in the fields of economic theory and policy.
