Historical Review / La Revue Historique is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that is published annually. It is a forum for publication of articles and book reviews covering cutting-edge, state-of-the-art historical research. Historical Review / La Revue Historique especially welcomes scholarly articles on the broad field of Hellenic Studies, and on the history of the Mediterranean and of Southeastern Europe, from the 16 th century up the 20 th century. We invite original papers and critical perspectives from all fields of historical inquiry within the social sciences and the humanities. The journal is bilingual (English and French).
