Wani es una revista científica multidisciplinaria, politemática, arbitrada y de acceso abierto que se publica desde 1984. Su periodicidad de publicación es semestral. Desde 2008 es editada por la Bluefields Indian & Caribbean University (BICU), hecho que se evidencia en el editorial de su edición número 58 . Su ISSN versión impresa es 1813-369X y en línea 2308-7862. Aunque la revista es politemática, tiene preferencia por las siguientes temáticas :   Arte y Humanidades; Salud y Bienestar; Educación e Interculturalidad; Tecnología e Innovación; Ingeniería y Construcción; Recursos naturales y medioambiente; Desarrollo y Economía. Objetivo de Wani : difundir el conocimiento generado mediante procesos de investigación, según las áreas del conocimiento que desarrolla esta universidad. Está dirigida a académicos e investigadores nacionales e internacionales y al público en general interesado en las ciencias.
