About the Journal Journal of Baghdad College of Dentistry (JBCD) Journal of Baghdad College of Dentistry is a refereed quarterly scientific journal ( from 2013- 2022) issued by College of Dentistry/ University of Baghdad which is the official owner of the journal. It publishes scientific papers in the following fields: Periodontics Orthodontics Restorative and aesthetic dentistry Preventive and pediatric dentistry Prosthodontics Oral medicine and pathology Oral and maxillofacial surgery Dental biomaterials Oral biology and pharmacotherapy Aims and Scope The Journal of Baghdad College of Dentistry (JBCD) publishes academic and applied papers dealing with recent topics and scientific concepts. The JBCD is a multidisciplinary journal considered publications of papers in all dental fields, including periodontics, orthodontics, restorative and aesthetic dentistry, preventive and pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, oral medicine and pathology, oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental biomaterials, as well as clinically relevant oral biology and pharmacotherapy. Accepted papers will be freely downloaded by professors, researchers, instructors, students, and interested workers (Open Access). Published Papers are registered and indexed in the universal libraries. About this Journal Journal of Baghdad College of Dentistry (JBCD) is an o pen -a ccess, peer-reviewed, quarterly published scientific journal of the College of Dentistry, University of Baghdad, dedicated to the dissemination of new knowledge and information on all sciences relevant to dentistry, oral cavity and associated craniofacial structures . The entire journal's archive is available online (since 2013 ) and all articles are freely available online. Open Access Policy Journal of Baghdad College of Dentistry (JBCD) is an open access journal, therefore there are no fees required for downloading any publication from the journal website by authors, readers, and institutions.
