Radovi Zavoda za hrvatsku povijest interdisciplinarni je znanstveni časopis koji objavljuje znanstvene i stručne priloge s područja povijesnih i srodnih humanističkih znanosti, napose arheologije, povijesti umjetnosti, etnologije i antropologije. Otvoren je za humanističke stručnjake različitih profila u tuzemstvu i inozemstvu. Temeljni jezik priloga je hrvatski, a primaju se i članci na bosanskom, crnogorskom, slovenskom i srpskom, te na svjetskim jezicima, engleskom, njemačkom, francuskom i talijanskom.
