Revista de Estudios sobre Genocidio

Aims & Scope

The Revista de Estudios sobre Genocidio is an annual publication, with each issue published in December, aiming to expand and disseminate research on genocide, particularly in Latin America. It is primarily intended for members of academic and scientific communities (students, faculty, and researchers) both nationally and internationally. While this line of study is over thirty years old, this is the first academic periodical publication in Spanish. It aims to both report on the state of the art internationally (publishing the most relevant works on genocide that have appeared in academic journals worldwide) and to advance research produced in our region that seeks to understand and analyze the specificity of Latin American genocides. Therefore, researchers from all social science disciplines dedicated to the study of genocidal processes and repressive practices anywhere on the planet are invited to submit contributions for this publication.
