These include the publication of intellectual debates, thematic dossiers and book reviews. The magazine is governed by an international advisory board, composed of prestigious figures from the discipline; administered by an editorial board, made up of researchers from the center; a rotating editor, chosen every three years among the members of the editorial board; two journal managers; and three book review editors. In 2010, Prismas began to publish online in SciELO (Scientific Electronic Library Online) and in Redalyc. Alongside its print edition, the digital version is divided into 2 issues.
