Aims & Scope

About the Journal Aims and scope Revija za geografijo/Journal for Geography (RG) is a scientific journal published by the University of Maribor Press and managed by the Department of Geography at the University of Maribor since 2006. The journal publishes articles from all fields of geography and other spatial sciences. Two issues are published annually. The articles are published in Slovenian, English, or German languages. The editorial board consists of internationally renowned geographers from all continents. RG is a freely accessible publication that disseminates interdisciplinary studies encompassing theory, methodology, development, and applications within the realm of geography and other spatial sciences. The journal also focuses on the development of quantitative and qualitative methods, the use of geographic information systems, and the development of terminology in geography. It aspires to link researchers within the region as well as to the extensive, global scientific community. The section "Reports" includes book reviews, reports from scientific conferences, project meetings, professional visits, field days, and similar topics. The publication is financially supported by the Slovenian Research and Innovation Agency.
