Aims & Scope
The journal aims to advance critical academic and public debates on contemporary social policy issues at the local, national, regional, European, and global levels. The journal publishes original scholarly articles in English across all areas of social policy and related interdisciplinary fields. The journal encompasses themes related to labour markets, living standards, social protection and social insurance, education, health, housing, family policy, social assistance, social transfers, poverty and social exclusion, inequality, anti-discrimination, and broader issues of social justice and social development. The Journal welcomes original research articles, policy analyses, comparative studies, and contributions examining the implications of social policies and practices in diverse socio-economic contexts. Particular emphasis is placed on innovative and evidence-based research with comparative, regional, or international relevance. The Journal particularly encourages interdisciplinary and comparative contributions addressing contemporary social challenges and policy developments in Southeast Europe within broader European and international contexts.
