Aims & Scope

The Zeitschrift für Rezensionen zur germanistischen Sprachwissenschaft (ZRS) [Journal for Reviews in German Linguistic Studies] aims to monitor the ever-growing field of new research studies and make them accessible to its readers. Until now, interested scholars only had recourse to the review sections – usually quite small – of other specialist journals. ZRS focuses primarily on German linguistic studies. In addition, however, it also intends to discuss general linguistic topics to the extent that they have a connection to German Studies and may be of interest for scholars working in German linguistics. ZRS is the first review publication for German linguistic studies, thus filling a much-felt gap.
