Aims & Scope

TheZeitschrift für Rezensionen zur germanistischen Sprachwissenschaft (ZRS)[Journal for Reviews in German Linguistic Studies] aims to monitor the ever-growing field of new research studies and make them accessible to its readers. Until now, interested scholars only had recourse to the review sections – usually quite small – of other specialist journals.ZRSfocuses primarily on German linguistic studies. In addition, however, it also intends to discuss general linguistic topics to the extent that they have a connection to German Studies and may be of interest for scholars working in German linguistics.ZRSis the first review publication for German linguistic studies, thus filling a much-felt gap. On the initiative of de Gruyter Verlag and Dr Heiko Hartmanns the ZRS was created in the spring of 2007. The publishers were Markus Hundt, Christa Dürscheid, Michael Elmentaler, Alexander Lasch, Horst Simon und Arne Ziegler.
