Aims & Scope
About the Journal ISSN: 1869-0238 The Journal of Internet Services and Applications (JISA) is a publication of the Brazilian Computing Society (SBC) in cooperation with the Brazilian Internet Steering Committee (CGI.br) and the National Computer Networks Laboratory (LARC). JISA is a unique open access Computer Science journal focusing on high-quality, innovative research on all aspects of Internet Services and Applications. JISA covers the three layers of the Internet, namely: Infrastructure and Networking Middleware and Distributed Software Platforms Applications and Services JISA features original research contributions on protocols and architectures; security and privacy; mobile, ubiquitous, pervasive, context-aware, and cloud/fog/edge computing; and emerging topics such as the Internet of Things and Big Data. The journal also welcomes contributions on the transversal topic of Artificial Intelligence applied to Internet Services and Applications, as well as work that cuts across the three layers above. Topics covered by JISA include: Networking protocols and architectures Web protocols, standards, and development Security and privacy Middleware and distributed software platforms Mobile, ubiquitous, pervasive, and context-aware computing Cloud, fog, and edge computing Internet of Things Big Data Applications and services Artificial Intelligence applied to Internet Services and Applications Open access JISA is open access and free of charge for both authors and readers. All articles published by JISA are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, without subscription charges or registration barriers.
