Aims & Scope

Waste & Biomass Valorization is the first journal internationally dedicated solely to the valorization via chemical, thermal, biological or electrochemical treatment of waste and biomass to materials and energy, as opposed to the treatment of waste and biomass for elimination/destruction. The journal addresses the conversion of biomass, co-products, residues, and waste into energy and added-value materials within a global move towards a greener, more resource-efficient, and climate-resilient economy, and intends to play a meaningful role in the Energy and Environmental Transitions toward Sustainable Development in line with the strong commitment to supporting the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
