Aims & Scope
Anuario de Derecho Municipal is a scientific publication, open, free, and annual, aimed at the academic and professional community, national and international, specialized in Local Law. It was born in 2007 with the aim of offering common theoretical and practical criteria to academics and professionals dedicated to the study of Local Administrations. ADM is the acronym for Anuario de Derecho Municipal, owned by the Institute of Local Law of the Autonomous University of Madrid. ADM offers a technical, rigorous, and expert vision of current problems affecting Local Administrations. It includes, on the one hand, studies and scientific articles on topics of indisputable local relevance and, on the other hand, reports on the most significant regulatory, jurisprudential, and bibliographic developments that take place in various areas of local administrative activity (urban planning, public procurement, environment, local taxes and budgets, patrimonial liability, etc.). The journal is divided into two sections: studies and reports. Only studies are submitted to anonymous peer review. The editorial committee may also decide to include an additional section, with technical reports prepared by professionals from local entities and/or an introductory study. Sectoral reports and, where applicable, technical reports and the introductory study are not submitted to anonymous peer review. The journal's objectives are: a) The dissemination of knowledge in the area of legal and political sciences, particularly Local Law, through the publication of research and studies related to the planning and activities of local entities, characterized by their originality and quality. b) To constitute a vehicle for reflection and debate on all types of political-legal problems, both from a theoretical and practical point of view.
