Aims & Scope
Ciencia Política is a biannual publication that began in 2006, aimed at catalyzing political science debate in Colombia with a global perspective, free from disciplinary enclosure, and dedicated to developing the public function of contributing to the construction of a more informed, critical, and active citizenry. The field in which Ciencia Política operates is the publication of unpublished research articles, reflection articles, and review articles on topics of political theory, political analysis, government and public policies, and international and global relations. For this purpose, the journal is structured around three sections: Central Theme, which extensively develops a previously selected topic; Other Research, which includes texts of different themes and orientations; and Reviews, dedicated to the review of recent publications, dialogues with other academic articles, translations of relevant texts, or discussions of current political topics.
