La Revista Acta Colombiana de Psicología publica hallazgos originales de las investigaciones en Psicología, las ciencias sociales y el diálogo de estas con otras disciplinas, con el propósito de divulgarlas a la comunidad académica y a todas las personas interesadas en conocer sus nuevos avances y aplicaciones a distintos campos y necesidades de la sociedad contemporánea. Dentro de las líneas de publicación se admiten artículos empíricos, validaciones psicométricas, revisiones de literatura narrativas, de alcance o sistemáticas, metaanálisis o artículos teóricos.
