Aims & Scope
The journal Socialist Studies and this web site are produced by socialists who adhere to the Object and Declaration of Principles of the Socialist Party of Great Britain founded in 1904 and can be seen on our home page. Since 1991, we have published pamphlets and Socialist Studies along with articles from the Socialist Standard as well as recordings of lectures held at Marchmont Street in the 1980s. We have no leaders and work co-optatively together to produce socialist material with the aim of convincing people that socialism is the only viable option to a capitalist system. Without socialists there can be no socialism. Socialism has to be a global social-system established politically and democratically by a socialist majority. We can only do so much. We have given our adult lives to propagating the case for socialism and repeating time and time again that capitalism can never be made to work in the interest of the working class.
