Aims & Scope

IJABE publishes original research and critical reviews covering agricultural machinery and mechanization, precision and smart agriculture, sensors and automation, soil and water engineering, biological and food processing systems, renewable energy applications, and environmental sustainability. By integrating engineering innovation with agricultural and biological sciences, the journal promotes efficient, sustainable, and intelligent solutions to global challenges in food production, resource management, and rural development. The journal welcomes submissions in emerging and high-impact areas such as sensing and detection technologies, advanced sensors, agricultural robotics, artificial intelligence, big data, smart agriculture, green and safe production technologies, smart deep-processing systems, autonomous driving, and unmanned farms.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
