Journal of Philosophy
Journal of Philosophy, Inc. · United States · Est. 1907
Aims & Scope
The Journal of Philosophy is extremely selective and publishes philosophical scholarship of exceptional quality. The Journal adheres to strict academic standards and focuses on research in the analytic philosophical tradition. We recommend that authors check recent volumes to get a clear sense of the Journal 's scope. While we do not publish manuscripts that mainly comment on articles published elsewhere, we do publish short responses to Journal of Philosophy articles. The Journal of Philosophy does not publish papers that are primarily historical or expository. Currently, the editors are not considering experimental philosophy. Book reviews are by invitation only.
