This journal publishes research on the ecological functions, management, and conservation of wetlands. Articles examine wetland hydrology, biodiversity, and biogeochemical cycles, including greenhouse gas emissions. The scope also encompasses the impacts of environmental changes, such as drought and fire, on wetland ecosystems, as well as human interactions with wetlands, including their cultural heritage and the development of nature-based solutions.
