Aims & Scope
STATISTICA publishes original articles, reviews and case studies from all fields of statistical application with a strong emphasis on relevance both to theoretical contributions and to statistical practice. The Journal is open to critical debate in the objective wide ranging and free spirit of research. It has been increasingly directed toward epistemological developments of statistical thought and the deepening of statistical methods to analyze natural and social phenomena without a priori opposition to any schools of thought. Apart from papers establishing new methodology and applications, STATISTICA explicitly encourages the submission of papers that contribute to the improvement of understanding and knowledge regarding existing methods and the application of statistics, such as review papers, benchmark studies, critical discussion and replication of existing work.
