Aims & Scope

The Journal of Theoretical and Applied Management publishes empirical and conceptual studies that advance theoretical and practical understanding of management in contemporary organizations, with particular emphasis on Asian and emerging market contexts. The journal aims to advance management knowledge and practice and to encourage research that bridges management theory, organizational practice, and policy implications in dynamic institutional and business environments. We invite contributions addressing key management domains including organizational behavior and human resource management, strategic management and organizational transformation, entrepreneurship and innovation, marketing management and consumer behavior, business policy and governance, and management practices in emerging markets.

A twelfth criterion — whether APC fees are clearly disclosed — is not scored here; it is left out of the total rather than counted as a failure. Publication charges appear in the metrics card above.
