Aims & Scope
Jurnal Sosial Humaniora (JSH) is a scientific journal that publishes original and high-quality articles presenting the most recent knowledge, research findings, applied studies, and scholarly developments in the broad fields of social sciences, humanities, education, and public policy . JSH welcomes interdisciplinary and critical perspectives that contribute to advancing theoretical debates, empirical understanding, and practical implications for contemporary societal issues at local, national, and global levels. The journal particularly encourages manuscripts that address, but are not limited to, the following areas: sociology, anthropology, cultural studies, communication and media studies, education and learning studies, curriculum and pedagogy, educational policy and management, social psychology, development studies, public policy, political studies, social welfare, community empowerment, and other relevant socio-humanities themes . Articles may employ qualitative, quantitative, mixed-methods, or critical approaches, provided that they demonstrate academic rigor and clear contributions to the field. Since its establishment in 2008 , JSH has been consistently published in two issues per year (January–July and August–December), serving as a platform for scholars and practitioners to disseminate scientific works that enrich the discourse and development of socio-humanities, education, and public policy studies.
