Aims & Scope

Revista Desenvolvimento Social (RDS) is a semi-annual publication of the Postgraduate Program in Social Development of the State University of Montes Claros (PPGDS/Unimontes). In addition to works in Portuguese, the journal also accepts contributions in English and Spanish. The journal receives texts from a maximum of 2 co-authors. Submissions from authors/co-authors who had publications in RDS in the three years prior to the current issue will not be evaluated. Each author/co-author may submit only one text at a time for evaluation. If two or more proposals are submitted, only the first one will be considered for evaluation. RDS accepts unpublished works in the form of articles and book reviews. The publication of contributions originating from research developed within the scope of CAPES' Interdisciplinary area will be prioritized. Submissions from disciplinary areas are also accepted, especially from investigations of themes dear to the Human and Social Sciences. RDS also publishes dossiers on themes dear to Social Development. The organizers of each dossier will be responsible for its editorial coordination.
