É publicada pela Sociedade Brasileira de Teoria e História da Historiografia (SBTHH) em uma parceria interinstitucional com os Programas de Pós-Graduação em História da Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto (UFOP) e da Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (UNIRIO).
